If you have any questions, please use the email address above. We do not have a phone number to call to talk to a live person. If you have questions regarding rates, terms, whether you could be approved, etc. these questions should be directed to the lender you ultimately choose and not us since we are not a lender. You might ask, "Why are we doing this?" The reason is because we have seen so many lenders pop up on the internet with a brand new website that looks professional yet they are just out to scam you. They will either steal your identity or ask for an upfront fee and then once they have the fee they will never help you. We just don't think that it is right. We took the time to research lenders by calling them, looking at reviews online, looking at when they registered their domain, looking at their BBB ratings, etc. to find lenders you can trust. As with anything, we can't help everyone but if we can help people avoid a scam and find a legitimate lender that might be able to help, then we've done our job. In addition, our list of lenders continues to slowly be updated because we are careful to recommend new lenders until we make sure they are legit.

Frequently Asked Questions: (99% of all questions can be answered below)
Q: What are you terms, how big of loan can you do, will I get approved?
A: Since we are not a lender ourselves, we cannot answer this. The best way to figure this out is to first submit your information online and then when we give you a list of lenders to try. You can ask the lender(s) directly any questions you have before you apply with them for a loan.

Q: How does your website work?
A: You will submit your basic information along with a recent credit score. Your credit score is very important. We will then take your credit score that you provide us as well as some other items like total revolving debt, etc. and provide you a list of lenders that we have matched you with. Remember that we do not ask for your social security # so there are no credit checks and instead we rely on the most up to date information you provide us to try to match you with a lender. Once you submit your information, our system will then send out a list of lenders approximately 24-48 hours later that you can contact yourself. We do not send any of your information to any lenders because we want you to be able to choose who to go with and we don’t know who you have tried in the past.

Q: I submitted my information on your website but I have not heard anything back yet. What should I do?
A: It takes approximately 24-48 hours before you will receive an email from us with a list of lenders that we have matched you with. You can check the status of your inquiry at any time by going to http://www.greatloansforbadcredit.com/status/.

Q: I was contacted by a lender after using your website. What should I do?
A: If you were contacted by a lender, it is not from us. We do not send any of your information to lenders. Instead, we provide you with a list of lenders to try. We do this because we don’t want you to be harassed with phone calls and we do not know if you have used any of the lenders we recommend in the past. So if a lender contacts you, it was not a result of your inquiry on our website.

Q: Will my email address or information be sold to spammers?
A: No. We get enough spam ourselves and hate it. We do not sell any information to 3rd parties and you will only ever receive 2 emails from us. The first email is a confirmation after you submit your information and the second email is a link to a list of lenders to try.

Q: I have never heard of your website before. Is it a scam?
A: No. We are not a scam and we are 100% legit. Our service is 100% FREE so we never ask for any billing information from you. We also never ask for your social security # so you don’t have to worry about us stealing your identity. As with anything, we can't help everyone but if we can help people avoid a scam and find a legitimate lender that might be able to help, then we've done our job. Our goal is to provide a valuable service that you will tell your friends about.

Q: Do you have a phone # where I can talk to a live person?
A: At this time we only have an informational phone # that gives more information about our service. We don’t have a phone # because we would have to hire additional people to handle all the phone calls. 99% of all the questions we are asked can be answered by reading the above Q & A’s, reading the frequently asked questions on our website, and by reading the Contact Us page on our website. If you are afraid to give your information online, we understand but at this time that is the only way we can do it. We are not asking for sensitive information such as your credit card information or social security #, so you should not worry about this.

Q: Do I have to pay for my credit score on your website?
A: No. We don't make it a requirement for anyone that they must get their credit score from the link on our website. The reason we promote it is because it actually helps consumers. Most websites make consumers pick a broad range for what type of credit they have (i.e. excellent, fair, poor, etc.), but what really is fair credit vs. poor credit? A credit score is much more accurate and we use that score to match you with a lender. Second, credit scores change on a daily basis. Just because you might have seen your credit score 90 days ago does not mean that it is your score today. If you use an older score and then we match you with a lender based on that score and then they pull your credit report and score and see your score is actually lower, then they might not be able to help you and you have just wasted your time plus lowered your score because the lender did a hard pull on your credit report. Likewise, if you used a 90 day old score and then the lender pulled your credit score and it was actually higher, then you might not get the best rate because we could have matched you up with a lender that accepted higher credit consumers that had lower rates. In addition, although the government does offer the annualcreditreport.com website, this only provides your credit report for free and does not provide your credit score for free. Your credit score is one of the most important criteria that lenders look at when deciding to give you a loan. It is always smart to view your credit report regularly and know your current credit score whenever you are looking for a new loan. Just use your most recent credit score that you know of if you don't want to get your most recent credit score online.

Q: I signed up for a free credit report on your website. How do I cancel my request?
A: We are not affiliated with these companies so you will need to contact them directly to cancel anything. Either go to their website directly to get their contact information or you should have received a confirmation email from them with instructions on how to contact them.

Q: I was thinking about using a lender that called me. How do I know if they are legit?
A: Be very careful. There are SO many scammers out there that have a professional looking website yet are out to take your money. If you want us to check out a lender for you, email it to us and we would be happy to do a little research and give you our opinion on them. Every week consumers email us with lenders they are thinking about going with and almost always these lenders are a scam. Most of the time when we check out a website, it looks professional, but the domain name was registered less than a week ago. These scammers are very good at what they do and they will try to get you to pay an upfront fee for the promise of a loan. Then once you pay them, you never hear from them again. Remember to never pay anyone an up-front fee for the promise of a loan. For a list of current lenders that we have determined to be a scam, click here.
